Some people get sick on trips. I happened to get strep throat my first week in Paris. Most likely something I brought from the states. The following doctors speak English and provide quality care.

  • Dr Stephen Wilson, 44 ave Segur 75015, Tel: 45.67.26.53.

General family practitioner. Provides student discounts with valid student id. Pharmacy next door to the doctors office. If the doctor is unavailable the answering service speaks English and can refer you to either a hospital or other facility.

Medical costs in France don't seem to be out of line with prices back in the states. Prescription medication is also reasonably priced. There are pharmacies all over Paris marked with a lit, large green plus sign over the door.
