Being accustomed to drop-off daycare and other such conveniences
finding schools in Paris is neither easy nor inexpensive. Here
are some places to check out:
- The American Church on Quai d'Orsay has a couple of bilingual
schools.
- The International School of Paris has bilingual education
from pre-school through high school.
- The American University has a bulletin board (so I hear) of
people looking for au pair positions.
Some issues you will have with the schools is if you are not
enrolling you child for the school year. They will give preference
to students being enrolled for the year and once space runs out
enrollment is closed.
France USA Contacts magazine also has
a listing for people looking for au pair positions and advertisements
for bilingual schools. There are professional nanny services in
Paris but they are exorbitantly expensive.
